With its clean lines, unobtrusive profile and exquisite attention to detail, the stunning seconds sub dial SSD pays homage to the 1960s, a simpler, some might say nobler, era that produced timeless, sophisticated design.
The architecture takes its inspiration from the best hand stopwatches of that period. Note the Gran Prix style bezel, common in racing watches of that time period. The lines are simple, with only a single bevel along the upper edge of the case. Deviating from the script, we’ve foregone the traditional black crystal gasket for a rich, eye-catching golden yellow, allowing the dial to take center stage. All of this is rounded out by a precision display featuring a sub-dial reminiscent of a Smiths gauge on the legendary Jaguar E-type.
